Influencing Skills – How to influence others

Do you ever wonder how some people just make things happen, get others on side, and more annoyingly, are seen to be that ‘essential’ team member and you still actually like them? Whilst some are just naturally gifted the majority of effective influencers use a model and work hard to put theory into practice.

This Micro module focuses on sharing and explaining how they do it! It covers the core personal influencing model; “push and pull” points on the influencing spectrum, the power of the “lyrics, music and dance”, active listening and techniques for dynamic persuasion.

The ‘personal influencing’ model forms the platform for several other micro modules. It is a key that unlocks your potential as a manager and leader.

This module focuses primarily on 1:1 and 1:small group/meeting scenarios.

Each attendee walks out with an A3 Placemat on Influencing Skills that captures the essence of the personal influencing model, insights regarding their preferred influencing style, awareness of how to assess others’ preferred style, and a game plan as to how to put theory into practice.
